The tower

Alex and I got to sleep in today. When we came downstairs, a fantastic tower had appeared in our living room.

Halloween chansons

He has never been so eager to dress in the morning

Its halloween dress up day at Nathan's school.

This is a special dinner

Tonight Alex and I thought it would be fun to order pizza and eat in the family room with the kids. "We can watch a movie!" I said.

It was to be our special dinner.

Murphy's law doesn't disappoint. The pizza is about an hour late. The kids have been very patient, eating carrot sticks and drinking "fizzy agua."

After looking in the bowl and seeing that we were out of carrot sticks, Nathan (contentedly watching TV) looked over at me and said, "this is a special dinner."
