Chick Hicks and his AKA's

Nathan and Sidney love the movie cars.

They love Lightning McQueen (the lead character). And they love Chick Hicks.

They have a set of matchbox cars from the movie. Sidney's favorite is the "Chick Hicks" car -- in Dinoco blue.

When we first got the car, Sidney couldn't pronounce Chick Hick's name correctly so he's had a variety of inventive names.

To whit:

1) Chuck MqQueen

2) Chuck-icks

3) Chick-icks

4) Chick-queen

5) Chick McQueen

6) Chick Hicks

Nathan's nightmares

For the past two nights, Nathan has woken up crying around 1A.

This morning, over breakfast, I asked him about his bad dreams.

Overheard

Sidney was crying. Nathan (who evdently made him cry) grabbed Sidneys head in his hands very gently and stroked his hair, saying

"Its ok, curly-puss!"
