For the past three or four months, our cars have been everything BUT cars.
"Papa's car is a train."
"Mama's car is a bus."
"Papa's car is a fire truck."
This morning when I put Nathan into the car and we started to drive off, he pointed out a big MUNI bus. "Is Papa's car a bus?" I asked, looking forward to a long discussion about the benefits of bus-ness.
Nathan looked at me and calmly replied, "No, Papa's car is just a car."
